Rust Thomas Nathan

Born 24^th May 1912 in New Zealand to Thomas and Mary Rust but was living at Camp Road , Wynyard Tasmania when he enlisted.

 He was a Warrant Officer with 12^th Squadron when taking off on a mission to Balikpapan the aircraft crashed just after becoming airborne.  The aircraft was destroyed by its depth charges exploding killing all crew members.

 Also killed was fellow Tasmanian Leonard Duncanson of Zeehan Tasmania.
