Sharp Edward Robert

 

 

Born Hobart Tasmania to Robert William and Minnie Sarah Sharp he was listed as a motor mechanic, married and living at Quayle St Sandy Bay when he enlisted in the RAAF. 

He was a member of 78 Squadron when he was killed accidentally in the Noemfoer area of New Guinea.  He was buried in the Kamiri Drome No 1 Cemetery. 

He is commemorated in the Lae War Memorial.
