Smith James H Roberts

Another member of the 2/3 M.G Bn who was captured by the Japanese, sent to Hintok, and lost their life while working on the Burma Thailand Railway.

Weary Dunlop noted in his diaries

“18^th July 1943

Also before I turned in after midnight, Corporal J.H.Smith died of cholera”
