Studio portrait of TX2112, Lieutenant (Lt) Alfred Jack Spencer, 4th Anti Tank Regiment, of Hobart, Tas. Lt Spencer enlisted on 8 July 1940 and was presumed to have been killed in action on 16 January 1942 in Malaya, aged 26.

LT A. J. (JACK) SPENCER who was reported missing in Malaya on Jan. I6, 1942. His death has now been presumed. Lt Spencer was educated at the Hutchins School, Hobart, and was employed by A. G. Webster and Sons. He was well known in music and broadcasting circles.
