Hobart Member of Second A.I.F. Dies In Hospital SYDNEY January 13 Pte. A. C. Stewart, of Hobart, a member of the Second I2th Battalion at Ingleburn, died in the Maitland Hospital on Sunday after an operation for appendicitis. Pte. Stewart was taken to hospital last Wednesday. He leaves a wife and five children. From a collection raised among the headquarters company of the Second 12th Battalion of which Private Stewart was a member, two wreaths were sent for his funeral. The company also sent a telegram of condolence to his wife The Mercury 16th Jan 1940
