Born 25 Aug 1916 Pyengana Tasmania to Thomas Herbert and Ruby Hilda Irene Terry (nee Woolley) 

He was with the 2/40th Battalion in Timor when he was captured by the Japanese and on the 15th June 1942 he was executed.

TERRY-TX3507 Pte. Elliot Frederick Terry, 2/40lh Batt., beloved husband of Dulcie, Federal Hotel, Wynyard, and loving son of Mrs. T. McGaw, Melbourne. Died while P.O.W., June 25, 1942, aged 26 years.
