Thurley Edgar Roy

Born 4^th Aug 1919 to Henry John and Mildred Thurley (nee Best) Pte Thurley was married to Ruby Gertrude Girdlestone when he enlisted at Cooee Tasmania in the AIF. 

He was serving with the 8 Division Provost Company in Thailand when he became ill and died on the 3^rd December 1943. 

He is commemorated at the Kanburi War Cemetery.
