Born Wilmot Tasmania to John William and Dora Ann Truskett (nee Dutton)

F/Sgt Truskett was a horticulturalist before he enlisted in the RAAF 

The Mercury 8 Mar 1945

TRUSKETT.-On March 4. 1945, at Rutland, England, Flt-Sgt Terence George (Terry) Truskett (RAAF), dearly loved and youngest son of Mrs D. Truskett, Lawrence St., Launceston, and loving brother of Jack, Viv, Lance, Betty, and Bob (POW), aged 24 years. Result of aircraft accident.
