Ward Alexander

 

 

Born 15th May 1902 Victoria Street Hobart to Robert James Knags and Alice Mary Ward (nee Jeffrey) Pte Ward was working as a barman and living at the Brisbane Hotel, Hobart Tasmania. 

 He was stationed at the army headquarters in Hobart when he became ill and died.

He was buried at Cornelian Bay Cemetery.

WARD-On January 23, 1943, at military hospital. Hobart, Alexander, the eldest surviving son of Mrs Alice M. Ward, of 26 Blair St., New Norfolk, and the late Robert James Knaggs Ward, aged 40 years.
