RAAF Casualty:

News has been received of the death of Sgt-Pilot Graham Wood in an aeroplane accident at Nemboro, Anglesey, Wales, on October 8. He enlisted in the RAAF in 1940 and completed his training in Canada.

Sgt-Pilot Wood was the son of Mrs May E. Wood, of Toorak (V) and the late Mr A. P. Wood, former city engineer of Launceston. He was educated at the Launceston Church of England Grammar School and at the time of enlisting was completing an architectural course at the Melbourne University.
