Woodard Norman Francis

Born 13^th Aug 1908 Stowport Tasmania to George William and Mary Alice Jane Woodard (nee Dellacca) 

He was a prisoner of war on board the “Rakuyo Maru” which sailed from Singapore on the 4^th September 1944.  She was sunk by the U.S. submarine “Sealion” with 1,159 prisoners being lost in this incident including Pte Woodard.
