Youl Henry Lionel

 

 

 

Born Currie King Island to Ernest George and Christina May Youl, Pte Youl was working on a farm when he enlisted in the AIF.

He was killed in action (drowned) on the 6th Sep 1942 and is commemorated on the Port Moresby Memorial Papua and New Guinea. 

His brother Charles Alfred Youl died also in a motor vehicle accident in England.
