WILLIAM LANGDON
William
was accused of stealing two mares on the 1st December 1838.
He was committed to trial at the Somerset Assizes amd was sentenced on
the 2nd April 1839 to 15 years transportation to William's
Convict Record states he was aged 45, 5'2" tall of stout build and a sallow
complexion, long visage, brown hair and grey eyes with a cut on his nose, a
blacksmith by trade with a wife and seven children. On
